The Messiah Cometh

Adolf now understands how the Jews felt 2,000 years ago. They yearned for the Messiah, a King among Kings, an outstanding leader who would lead them from a life of soul destroying misery and deliver them into the promised land of milk and honey. They wanted a Lord of Lords.



So does New Zealand Cricket as it awaits the arrival of someone who can make more than fifty runs in a test innings and bat for more than twenty minutes without taking a swish at a ball outside the off stump.

When he arrives, he too will be revered for 2,000 years.
